About Julian Wicksteed
Julian Wicksteed was born in Australia, grew up there and and studied for a science degree in fisheries management there. In the year 2000 he also attained a higher diploma in teaching at the University of Cape Town. Today he travels the world pursuing his passions in life: surfing, sailing, fishing, writing, and of course, photography. He has published nine books documenting his travels, all of which can be found online via his website www.anglerwalkabout.com or a simple google/amazon search. Since 2018 he has been sailing his 35ft sloop (Angler Walkabout) around the North Pacific's Canadian and Alaskan Coastline.
